I think everybody is familiar with this delicious cool dessert .when we were kids eating this cool Indian Ice cream is to be so much fun.sometimes with our mom's help ,used to prepare this ice cream at home and used to be very impatient to eat it.we used check freezer every 5 minutes to see if the Kulfi is done and mom used to scold us for that. This snack is also one of the speciality of karnataka cuisine.This one too my mom used to prepare during Diwali and all other festivals.The recipe is some what similar to chakuli.In these few more ingredients is required and the shape of it is different like a disc. My son likes this snack very much,so i prepare this snack quite offen. Ingredients: 3 cups Rice flour 1 cup Fried gram dal powder(Hurrikadalle) 2 tsp red chili powder 1/4 tsp asafoetida(hing) 2-3 tsp crushed groundnuts/peanuts 1-2 tsp fried gram dal salt 1/2 tsp sesame seeds 2 tbsp hot oil oil for frying Method: Fry without oil fried gram dal just to make it warm. Dry grind it into fine powder. Take a mixing bowl and mix all the above ingredients, and also sprinkle hot oil on these mixer.
