This is a authentic Mangalore dish. As i mentioned earlier also near my Sasural there is a very famous Temple of lord Ganesha called Annegudhe and and just near that temple a small (gudh angadhi) shop is there which is very famous for this bhel.Really very tasty Mundakki he prepares. Its a simple Bhel type but the masala used for this is little different.Once my Father-in-law showed me the method of preparing that masala. In our native we get this masala in stores too.In my house everybody just love this snack. This is too is a very good Tea time snack.

take a pan add 1 tsp coriander seeds ,1/2 tsp cumin seeds,5-6 whole red chilies,asafoetida,2" tamarind ,1/2 tsp salt.roast these till nice aroma comes and color changes.dry ground them into fine powder.
If you want instead of this masala you can use rasam powder or sambhar powder.
